NewTek will demonstrate its Live Production Video Tools at BVE2017

Launched at IBC 2016, the NewTek IP Series merges power, efficiency and flexibility of IP with software-driven live production approach to define a new workflow. The IP Series acts as a single, modular video production system with virtually limitless access to video sources and video mixing options. Connecting, communicating, and sharing video and audio across the network means all inputs, outputs and media assets are readily available and accessible.

Designed to work effectively in an ecosystem, the NewTek IP Series is one of the first large production systems designed for IP video while also fully backwards compatible with SDI. Video, audio and control signals are transferred digitally using NewTek NDI™ and the result is a fully customisable IP workflow solution with the flexibility to handle the most demanding production needs.

In addition to the IP Series, NewTek will also show the MediaDS, its new real-time media encoding and live streaming video delivery system, at BVE 2017 for the first time in the UK.  Developed in partnership with Wowza, MediaDS is an industry first end-to-end streaming solution that allows any production, presentation, or live event to be delivered to any device with browser capability, regardless of location.

NewTek’s MediaDS system will be demonstrated alongside the four-camera TriCaster 460 with TalkShow VS 4000 and TriCaster Mini with MediaDS:

• NewTek’s TriCaster 460 is an all-purpose video production system perfect for smaller racks and mobile units. It includes an integrated audio mixer, media players, titles, graphics and DVE effects which helps live and on-demand programs become more engaging and creates multi-platform productions.
• NewTek’s TalkShow VS 4000 solution adds live, full HD Microsoft Skype TX video interviews to productions which means television producers and live event producers can reacg millions of Skype users worldwide, add them to guest lists, and maintain complete confidence in video and audio quality.
• TriCaster Mini is unmatched on size, simplicity and feature set as it is easy to carry, set up and share a complete program in minutes. Broadcasters and video professionals are adding this NewTek product to their line-up to produce multi-camera content anywhere using SDI cameras.
