Michael Schneider joins AXON as Business Development Manager for Germany and Switzerland

AXON is now opening its new direct sales office for Germany and Switzerland in Mainz

Netherlands-based AV conversion, processing and compliance recording specialist Axon Digital Design has strengthened its European sales and marketing team with the appointment of Michael Schneider as Business Development Manager for Germany and Switzerland.

Michael will be responsible for the further development of these strong markets for AXON’s products and he will work together with end-users and system integrators on new projects. Besides this he will also support existing customers and the installed base as direct contact for AXON in addition to AXON’s distributor Videor Technical GmbH.

Michael most recently served as Sales Manager EMEA for Digital Film Technology, a manufacturer of advanced film scanning equipment, production software and storage solutions. In this role he worked closely with customers to define system solutions for digitization projects throughout Europe. Before this he worked for Philips, Thomson and Grass Valley in various roles, including Head of Applications Management, Strategic Marketing Manager and Sales.

Michael holds an engineering degree and brings 15+ years of experience in broadcast and post production, “AXON is a quality-driven company that has a great reputation in the broadcast market.
