MEDIA BROADCAST Appoints Ulf Heggenberger as CSMO

Ulf Heggenberger was latterly on the Board of EWE TEL GmbH and has decades of management experience in telecommunications

Ulf Heggenberger, 43, assumes executive responsibility for sales and marketing at MEDIA BROADCAST, Europe’s largest full-service provider for the broadcast and media industry, on 1 October 2014. In his new role as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer (CSMO) he will report to MEDIA BROADCAST’s Management Board Chairman and CTO, Wolfgang Breuer.

Ulf Heggenberger will take the consistent alignment of our sales and marketing to customers’ needs further forward.”

Before joining MEDIA BROADCAST Mr. Heggenberger was director of sales, marketing, product management and customer service at EWE TEL GmbH. Under his management EWE TEL became a regional market leader in mobile broadband services, winning customer service awards.


Mr. Heggenberger previously worked for the Vodafone Group for many years in a variety of management positions in Germany and abroad. He played a leading role in, inter alia, the launch of mobile e-mail services and data cards that made a major contribution toward the success of Vodafone’s mobile data business. He is a business studies graduate and studied in Cologne and England.
