Panasonic has put together two new bundles that include the new AV-HLC100 production switcher that offers a high-quality, reliable and easy-to-use system together with two of our IP-based PTZ cameras - the AW-HN38 or the AW-HN40. Combining functionalities found within a 1ME switcher, a PTZ camera controller, and an audio mixer, the AV-HLC100 supports one-person operation all within a single device.

The AV-HLC100 production center has been designed to support event capture where there may only be a limited number of operators available, making it a suitable option to be used for web-based productions, conferences, university sports and so on. It can be used as a central hub for camera control and switching, therefore supporting a live event flyaway kit that can be added onto a NDI workflow when used alongside the AW-HN38 and AW-HN40

To compliment the live streaming functionality of the HLC100, users can also use the Title, Clips, Still and PiP generator to add production value to their streams. This combined with remote control operation and switching, means only 1 operator could be user for a multi camera shoot, saving time and costs to many clients.

Additionally the HLC100 can use Skype TX as one of the sources, which enables broadcast-quality video communication. Footage sent by Skype-based video channels from remote locations can be directly incorporated during live shows and can be used for interviews or on-location broadcasts, providing an engaging way to bring in guests from all over the world into your live events, lectures, webinars, and presentations.
