Lawo to launch Virtual Radio Mixing Console

.

Lawo, designer and manufacturer of pioneering audio and video technology for TV and radio broadcast production, post-production, as well as live performance and theatrical applications, pushes the envelope of virtual radio production even further. In a world’s first, Lawo will be launching at NAB 2014 show (C1311, Central Hall) its brand-new crystalCLEAR virtual radio mixing console.

crystalCLEAR’s entire control surface is software, driven by a multi-touch optimized interface on a high-resolution computer display. Without the limitations of physical knobs, buttons and faders, the virtual console presents the user with only relevant controls and information, hiding anything not needed for the task at hand. crystalCLEAR is fast, intuitive and easy handling and configuring. It’s as easy to drive as a tablet PC, while powerful enough to manage complex workflows in the most fast-paced broadcasting environments.

In addition, Lawo will premiere several other new products for radio and TV broadcast productions, including the JADE 2.0 virtual audio routing software, which allows efficient and cost-effective workflows for newsroom applications, the EDIT VO virtual audio recorder as well as several new features for Lawo’s mc2 audio production consoles and V__line video products.
