Historic changes

For 12 years LANG AG has been presenting the latest and most innovative technologies in different media and AV installations at ISE (Integrated Systems Europe). This year brings historic changes into the family-run business from Lindlar. The start-up of two new companies will be announced at the ISE.

Baranday AG (Zurich, Switzerland) and LANG AG (Lindlar, Germany) have decided to found the LANG-Baranday AG as a new and independent company with the objective to jointly offer services to the Swiss market. “Together we will be a strong supplier for both Swiss system integrators and rental companies of projection, LED and display technology as well as image processing infrastructure”, said Nicola Votta, CEO of LANG-Baranday. He and his team are well known in the AV industry for their professional service and sales expertise, in particular in the area of projection and made themselves a name on the Swiss market through their versed technical know-how. Additionally, LANG-Baranday acts through their official distribution for well-known manufacturers like Barco, Epson and Panasonic as well as Lightware and Audipack as a competent contact for the Swiss integration market.

Furthermore, in Great Britain a new member of the LANG family was created. LANG UK, a subsidiary company based in London, will be led by John Hooker as Managing Director. Alexander Prill, International Sales Director of the Lindlar based family business, commented: “The cooperation with our British colleagues has always been very successful. While Germany has sometimes been too far away for smaller orders, we now have the opportunity to directly serve our UK based customers with a very experienced and highly regarded team of AV professionals.”

All three companies have one thing in common. They all follow the same philosophy, now and in the future: not serving end customers. “That has always been a guarantor for loyal customer relationships. Shared values are very important, that way we can all act on equal footing with each other”, emphasized Tobias Lang, CEO of LANG AG. He also highlighted that all three companies are independent and this, including the technical expertise of the British and Swiss, is the perfect foundation for a successful market presence. Like this, all three companies have the opportunity to grow and to establish their own markets.

At this year’s ISE, contact persons from the different countries will be available for questions and discussions at booth 1-H60.
