At XL, Jo quickly became a rising star and enjoyed the experience of working with some of the brightest names in touring video including the late great Des Fallon and the award-winning company’s founders, Chris Mounsor and Lee Spencer.
She project managed and co-ordinated video worldwide for internationally acclaimed touring acts including The Killers, James Blunt, The Kaiser Chiefs and many more, and has a particular penchant for working with young and up-and-coming designers and bands ‘to watch’.
“Jo is a fantastic addition to the company!” stated Colour Sound’s H (Haydn Cruickshank). “Her enthusiasm, drive and personality is a perfect fit with our core values of ensuring outstanding customer service, great personal attention to detail and encouraging innovative designers to explore their ideas and imaginations.
“Her vast knowledge and experience of live entertainment production and extensive contacts will be a huge asset, and we are all looking forward to a positive and exciting long-term working relationship”.

Independently owned and run Colour Sound was founded in 1989, and first established itself as a lighting, laser and special effects company. Over the last eight years, it has steadily invested in and expanded its video capacity, first with high quality proprietary LED screens and more recently with touring-ready camera systems and vision mixers.
Getting Jo on-board is also a canny strategic move … with the announcement of a massive new video investment imminent in the next few weeks!
Jo will be based at Colour Sound’s HQ in Park Royal North London and will be working alongside their other account handlers including Fletch, Steve Marley, Alex Ryan and H.
She will again be working on developing relationships with emerging music talent, designers and creatives, an area which she loves and in which she excels.
Jo comments, “I am extremely happy! The vibe and can-do attitude at Colour Sound reminds me of the early trailblazing days of XL! There’s a great camaraderie and team spirit, and we all share the same vision of wanting to empower designers to be more creative and push the boundaries of what is achievable using current and future technologies”.
