HHB Appointed UK Broadcast Dealer for DiGiCo Consoles
DiGiCo’s introduction of a broadcast specific feature set for its range of digital consoles has put the power and flexibility of their innovative console architecture and advanced software into the hands of broadcast engineers. Designed and manufactured in the UK, DiGiCo consoles are known for their sound quality, ease of use and processing power and offer a variety of options that are very appealing to audio engineers working in radio, TV and OB production environments.
Large TFT LCD touchscreens, 96kHz sample rates and Stealth Digital Processing™, and Super FPGA have gained DiGiCo’s consoles praise by engineers the world over for their intuitive, analogue feel and easy-to-use GUI. Features such as built-in MADI (standard for all consoles), Mix-minus output per channel, models that range from 32 mono or stereo channels right up to 256 processing channels, with unique features such as input 'Flexi' channel and multichannel inputs make DiGiCo’s broadcast mixers a cost effective solution with enough busses to cope with the most demanding broadcast applications.
As a supplier of state-of-the-art professional broadcast audio equipment to the UK’s biggest broadcasters and systems integrators for over 36 years, HHB is relied upon by the industry to find the latest technology to meet the demands of the professional broadcast audio market. Their appointment as DiGiCo’s Broadcast Dealer will only serve to strengthen this reputation and supplement its portfolio of digital broadcast mixers.
DiGiCo MD James Gordon explains that the appointment was a perfect fit: “HHB is a highly-respected company in the professional broadcast audio market and a trusted source of expertise who will properly represent our range of consoles to the UK’s biggest broadcasters. We are very much looking forward to showing their clients how flexible and feature packed our consoles are.”
HHB Director of Sales Martin O’Donnell states: “DiGiCo’s consoles offer an innovative and intuitive user interface and an analogue feel that translates very well to the engineers working in radio and TV. They are also extremely well built and offer a multitude of features at a price point that their competitors will find hard to match. We are very excited to be representing such a respected brand.”
