Harris Corporation Names Dario Choi Vice President of Sales & Services, Asia-Pacific, for its Broadcast Communications Business

Choi joins Harris from Ericsson Television Limited, where he held the position of Head of Asia-Pacific region. As a key member of the Ericsson executive management team, Choi was responsible for general management, sales, operations, marketing, business and channel management, with full P&L responsibility. Previously, Choi was executive vice president and general manager for Tandberg Television, Hong Kong, where he was responsible for complete operational and strategic P&L, and where he restructured and mobilized the organization to drive business growth in software and services. Prior to joining Tandberg, Choi was managing director of SkyStream Networks, Hong Kong, where he was responsible for expanding businesses in telecom, satellite, cable, broadcasting, and content markets and established business operations in key markets, including Japan, Korea, India, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.

Choi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta, where he was awarded the Alexander Rutherford Scholarship Award. He is a member of the Council of Governors at CASBAA, Asia Pacific Broadcasting, the International Engineering Consortium, the DVB Organization and the ISP-Satellites forum.
