Grass Valley Showcases End-to-End Production Solutions for better storytelling at BroadcastAsia2016

Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, will be at Broadcast Asia 2016 to demonstrate its advanced products and solutions for the professional broadcast and production markets. The event takes place May 31–June 3 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, where attendees will gather to network, exchange business ideas, gather market information and see the latest broadcast products and solutions. Grass Valley is located in stand 5B3-01.

At the show, Grass Valley will feature a number of recently introduced products along with its full portfolio of solutions for live production, news and playout. With a particular focus on the emerging areas of 4K UHD capture and the migration to an IP workflow, Grass Valley will help visitors understand the challenges and opportunities that are driving the market.

“The key to success for broadcasters today is to invest wisely in tools that provide flexibility and a growth path that ensure they will be Future-Ready,” said Andrew Thornton, vice president, Asia Pacific, Grass Valley. “At Broadcast Asia, our focus is on IP solutions based on open standards, format-flexible production that allows broadcasters to work efficiently with any format at any time, and workflow tools that solve the growing VOD content preparation challenges.”

Grass Valley will showcase its Glass-to-Glass IP solution, which helps broadcasters bring IP into the mix while maintaining SDI capability, with GV Node Real Time IP Processing and Edge Routing Platform, and GV Convergent IP Router Control and Configuration System. The company will also show the new Densité IPG-3901 SDI/IP Gateway with TICO 4K 1-Wire option; the new GV Korona K-Frame S-series Video Production Center, which is perfect for mobile environments or anywhere where space is limited; and iTX On-Demand, an innovative video-on-demand (VOD) solution that automates the VOD process. New for iTX On-Demand at Broadcast Asia is support for 4K media and the ability to master, transcode and upload VOD assets in parallel, realizing a huge time saving for content creators.

Other solutions on display include the LDX 86 Series Cameras, K2 Dyno Replay System, EDIUS 8 Nonlinear Editing Software and GV STRATUS Video Production and Content Management System. Attendees will also learn about the new global strategic alliance between Grass Valley and Cisco, and will see how Grass Valley and Tripwire, both Belden Brands, are working together to enable secure playout across IP networks.
