Grass Valley Selects Industry Veteran Charles Cataldo to Support Global Services Business

In this new position, Cataldo will play a key role in the Global Services team assisting in the plans to strengthen efforts to build the services and solutions that will make Grass Valley the leading provider of best-in-class video technology solutions.
Cataldo joins Grass Valley from Hewlett-Packard, where he most recently served as a General Manager in the Communications and Media division and helped grow the digital media solutions business in the Americas. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Broadcast & Studio Operations at HBO, including overseeing all of the HBO Communication Center activities in Hauppauge, New York, and the Studio and Post Production Operations facilities in Manhattan.

Before joining HBO, in 1982, Cataldo was an engineer for Suburban Cable Television for five years—which later became part of Comcast Cable.

Cataldo will report directly to Aengus Linehan and will be based in San Francisco, Calif.
