Grass Valley Appoints Michael Zabolitzki to Lead Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

To reinforce its solutions offerings to broadcasters and content producers, and to support further expansion in the Germany (Deutschland), Austria, and Switzerland (Confederatia Helvetica) (DACH) region, Grass Valley® has appointed Michael Zabolitzki as Managing Director for the company’s DACH operations.

In his new role, Zabolitzki will be responsible for the overall business activities in the DACH region with a specific focus on driving strategic growth accelerating the company’s transition to solution selling.

“Michael is a great addition to the European team and a key player in our transformation of Grass Valley’s business in the DACH region,” said Dr. Christopher Brennan, Vice President of Central & Eurasia. “He has very deep and broad experience in the IT industry which will enable us to further support our customers whose businesses are adapting to a number of new technology trends.”

With the shift in the broadcast industry to more IT based technologies, Zabolitzki brings with him a wealth of invaluable experience spanning over 25 years in the IT industry. Prior to joining Grass Valley, Zabolitzki held a number of senior management roles in both sales and pre-sales at Dell in Germany, including Sales Director for Customer Retention and Development. 

Before his time at Dell, Zabolitzki worked at a number of other leading IT companies including Fujitsu and ICL Trading.
