FOX Sports’ David Neal Executive One-on-One to Highlight LiveTV:LA November 7

David Neal, Executive Producer, FIFA World Cup on FOX, will take the stage in an exclusive executive one-on-one interview with Sports Video Group (SVG) Editorial Director Ken Kerschbaumer at the inaugural LiveTV:LA conference, November 7 at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in Los Angeles. With more than 30 years of production experience and as a recipient of 34 Emmy Awards, Neal will be at the center of FOX Sports’ major production efforts for 2015: the U.S. Open golf tournament and the FIFA Women’s World Cup.  He will discuss the intricacies of both productions and how FOX Sports will take advantage of all its linear network and digital resources to tell the story of these watershed events, his experiences in live television, and much more.

Presented by SVG and TVNewsCheck, in association with Variety and Variety 411, LiveTV:LA will gather senior executives in TV entertainment, news, sports, and second-screen media to talk about enhancing the experience, audience, production, and monetization of live TV programming. Other speakers include keynoter Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment; David Hill, Chairman, National Geographic Channels, and Executive Producer, American Idol; Stacey Foster, Co-Producer, Saturday Night Live; Rebecca Campbell, President, ABC-Owned Television Stations; David B. Williams, Chief Content and Technology Strategist, Endemol Beyond; and more.

Neal is responsible for managing all live programming broadcast by FOX Sports, FOX Sports 1, and FOX Sports’ regional networks; Fox Sports Media Group digital platforms; and all other national and international News Corp. assets. In August 2012, he was named Executive Producer, FIFA WORLD CUP ON FOX, and was responsible for developing and executing FOX’s coverage plans for the FIFA World Cup across all FOX Sports platforms, including broadcast, cable, and digital.

He began his production company in 2010, following a career with NBC Sports and Olympics, which encompassed live events, studio shows, documentaries, and anthology programs. In three decades at NBC, Neal produced nine Olympics, four NBA Finals, two World Series, and a Super Bowl pregame show. Since 2010, David Neal Productions has produced more than 250 hours of television for varied clients, including Univision, the Professional Bull Riders on CBS and NBC, and Epic Poker on CBS and Velocity.
