EVS to introduce IP4Live at Broadcast Innovation Day in Germany

Broadcast Solutions’ event to feature EVS’ IP strategy and latest live production solutions

EVS, the leading provider of live video production solutions, will display its live production servers, IP-based production switcher and IP migration strategy at the Broadcast Innovation Day. The event run by EVS XTEND partner Broadcast Solutions GmbH will be made up of an exhibition, a 4K/UHD arena and panel discussions. It will take place on Wednesday 9 December at Broadcast Solutions’ headquarters in Bingen, Germany.

The event will show visitors a production hall where a fleet of OB vans are being integrated. This is the largest fleet of vans currently being constructed in Europe and feature a significant number of new XT3 live production servers. These offer up to 12 HD/SD ingest/playout channels and the ability to support 4K/UHD recording and editing.

It will also have an exhibition area where EVS will introduce IP4Live, a hybrid approach to the broadcast industry’s transition to IP, enabling live production providers to adopt IP-based solutions while protecting existing investments. Among these solutions is DYVI, the IT-based switcher that offers an easy-to-use operational interface combined with high-end functions to create, control and connect with unprecedented flexibility.
