Edward Saunders, ES Broadcast CEO and founder

Broadcast equipment reseller and systems integrator ES Broadcast has been ranked at number 72 in the 2018 Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100. The annually published league table is billed as the definitive list of Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing sales.

Inclusion in the shortlist recognises the remarkable year-on-year growth ES Broadcast has achieved. Over the last three years, the company’s sales have seen an annual rise of 55.10%, with financial results in the year to June 2018 showing sales of £21.4m.

The company was one of only six media businesses to make the top 100, which featured companies from sectors as diverse as food and drink, transport, healthcare, consumer goods and business services. Prominent names including craft beer brewers BrewDog, Beavertown Brewery and Brewhouse & Kitchen, restaurant chains Mowgli, Giggling Squid, Five Guys and Flat Iron, retail leisure developer Boxpark and sporting events promoter Matchroom Sport all made the final rankings.

Under the stewardship of managing director Ben Murphy, who joined the business in July 2016, ES Broadcast’s equipment sales operation has seen significant growth, while the company also expanded its service offering with the establishment of a dedicated systems integration division in September 2017. The division has already delivered a number of projects for clients including Creative Technology, The Hospital Club Studios, Telegenic and RaceTech.

The number of staff employed by ES Broadcast in the last three years has also grown threefold, with recent recruitment bringing the current headcount to 36.

“We are extremely proud of our achievement in being included in the Fast Track 100,” said Edward Saunders, ES Broadcast CEO and founder. “It acknowledges the vision and dedication of the senior management team, the hard work of all our staff, and the mutually beneficial, long-term relationships of trust we have built with our clients.
