Custom Consoles has chosen CABSAT 2015 as the launch venue for a major aesthetic uplift to its broadcast furniture range. The Module-R, SystemTwo and SystemTwo Lite ranges of technical furniture are now available with robust profiled panels offering a wider selection of finishes.

"The new profiled panels provide a much sleeker appearance and considerable aesthetic improvement which will be greatly appreciated by modern broadcast designers," says Commercial Director Graham Buchanan. "The new finishes should impress not only the operators who work with the desks but potential customers touring a facility. Desk and module dimensions remain unchanged. We have expanded our CABSAT booth size this year from 12 to 18 square metres, giving us space to exhibit a Module-R desk alongside our Media Wall monitor display mount and a SystemTwo Light edit solution in their new finishes."

Module-R
A mix-and-match control-room furniture system, the Custom Consoles Module-R product range allows attractively styled desks with long working lives to be configured to meet specific shapes and dimensions from a selection of high-quality pods, base sections, 19 inch rack housings, worktops, end-panel modules and legs. Coordinated desk pods are available as single-bay sections with up 10U chassis capacity.

SystemTwo and SystemTwo Lite
SystemTwo is a multi-element furniture system designed to accommodate free-standing or pod-mounted equipment such as graphics workstations and editing terminals. The SystemTwo range includes the S2-01B desk and S2-02B shelf, both electrically adjustable in height from 660 to 1,250 millimetres. SystemTwo Lite is a simpler structure with dual flat-screen monitor mounting arms. It retains the electric adjustability of the standard System Two.

MediaWall monitor support system
Custom Consoles' MediaWall allows flat-screen monitor displays of practically any width to be constructed from standard horizontal and vertical support elements. The latest version incorporates a series of improvements including narrower front-to-back depth, reduced from 600 to 500 millimetres. Like its predecessor, the new version is fully self-supporting and retains the option of adding coupling brackets directly to the studio wall.

Freely adjustable horizontal and vertical screen spacing allows individual display screens to be positioned so that their edges meet exactly to form a continuous horizontal monitorscape limited only by the boundary of the display itself.

Cable management within MediaWall is along a PVC tray. All wiring is fully concealed and can enter or leave the structure at any desired point. Integral mains distribution units are available as an option. Custom Consoles' own-design VESA mounts allow easy front access when mounting small screens to MediaWall.

MediaWall incorporates height-adjustable horizontal beams suspended between 2.3 metre high aluminium columns. Equipment pods with 19 inch racking behind removable vented panels can be incorporated at floor-level.

MediaWall is available in a silver-anodised or black-powder coated finish and in any specified element widths.
