Bittree Introduces New Micro-Video Patchbays for Compact, High-Density Patching
posted:
Bittree's high-bandwidth video patchbays are ideally suited for supporting 3Gbps and 3D productions, HD/SDI, SD/SDI, AES, and high-resolution computer graphics. With a new rear lacing bar and industry-standard DIN 1.0/2.3 rear terminations, the Micro-Video Patchbay makes it easier than ever for users to install, organize, and remove wiring. The product's unique design additionally features the ability to recess the front panel to prevent cord protrusion, further conserving space and ensuring reliable connections.
"Bittree understands that video patching needs may vary substantially from facility to facility, and our new Micro-Video Patchbay further widens the broad selection of products that we offer for standalone or redundant video patching systems," said Mike Buchanan, vice president of Bittree. "In addition to demonstrating industry-best innovation, our Micro-Video Patchbays are supported by top-notch customer support — a pivotal but often overlooked component in our customers' success."
The Micro-Video Patchbay's jacks conform to SMPTE 292M and SMPTE 424 standards and are isolated from the front panel, with a captive front-mounting screw for easy maintenance. Engineered for use even in extreme environmental conditions, each Micro-Video Patchbay is built to high-quality specifications from solid, powder-coated aluminum. The system is available in four different configurations, with dual self-normalizing terminated jacks (2MVTHD), dual self-normalizing non-terminated jacks (2MVNHD), dual non-normalizing terminated jacks (1MVTHD), or dual non-normalizing, non-terminated jacks (1MVNHD).
