Habegger AG takes over the SIVision TV Production GmbH

SIVision TV Production GmbH located in Ismaning close to Munich is one of the well-known HD OBVan companies in Europe. Never before in the history a sports Emmy Award for outstanding technical implementation was given to a European TV Production company. SIVision has achieved it twice since 2009. For the global production of the "Red Bull Air Races" SIVision has not only receive these awards, but also has build-up an international reputation for high quality production of TV live events. Center piece is one of the largest HD OBVans in Europe. With up to 25 cameras SIVision's HD truck is dedicated to cover international TV live events.

Expansion of the Habegger services

The takeover of SIVision is a strategically important step for Habegger AG, because with the 100% acquisition Habergger AG expands its position as an international full-service provider in the field of technical infrastructure services. "We supplement our already existing expertise in TV production. We are now in the position to support international sports and show events with our own production technology at the highest levels", says Simon Ackermann, president of the board of directors of Habegger AG.

The "new" SIVision

SIVision TV Production GmbH will be transfered into the SIVision Broadcast GmbH with its headquarters in Garching, Germany. The management of the new company is led by the previous owner, Imre Sereg, together with Simon Ackermann. All ongoing projects will be carried out by the new company. Currently the SIVision HD OBVans serve on behalf of the American broadcaster ESPN as an IBC (International Broadcast Center) to transfer the TV signals of the FIFA Women's World Cup to the USA. Together with the Habegger AG SIVision offers an unparalleled portfolio of services in Europe for "medial experience worlds", events and TV-productions.
