ABS Hosts Free Broadcast Technology Conference for Myanmar
posted:
Currently, Myanmar only permits TV broadcast stations to be government or joint venture (government and private) operations. Later this year, however, experts anticipate the country will enact a major policy change to establish a national broadcaster and allow private companies to operate legally.
“Myanmar’s new broadcast laws will be a great opportunity and result in a surge in production, but it also means new and current broadcasters will need to get up to speed quickly on the latest technologies to compete,” explained Dennis Breckenridge, managing director, Advanced Broadcast Solutions – Asia. “Our Broadcast Technology Conference has been designed to provide information about workflows, infrastructures, and a number of products from some of the industry’s top manufacturers.”
