5th International User Meeting and Partner Training successful

Audio Experts from all over the world at Lawo in Rastatt

End of September, mc² and Innovason users as well as Lawo sales partners from all over the world met at the convention center Badner Halle in Rastatt: in parallel sessions, the “5th International mc² User Meeting”, the “Lawo Partner Training 2010” and the “1st International Innovason User and Partner Meeting” were taking place at the same time. The participants had the chance to experience a number of presentations on a variety of topics including the newest software releases, features, information on several projects, as well as some hands-on-experience.

The participants were encouraged to try out new features like the AMBIT Upmix and Lawo iPhone Remote App – presented at the IBC for the first time – using the mixing consoles prepared in the hall for this purpose. In order to provide optimal hands-on-experience the entire mc² family as well as Eclipse consoles were set up prior to the event by Audio Broadcast Services (ABS), Lawo’s partner for the rental business. Moreover, other Lawo products for further sessions had been set up: sapphire, crystal, zirkonXL, mxGUI and the Lawo Plug-in Collection.

Other highlights of the attractive agenda: The presentation about the new RAVENNA technology and a lecture about the fully digital workflow directly from the microphone via the Eclipse console. A report about the deployment of Lawo equipment at the Winter Games in Vancouver and at the soccer world championship 2010 as well as a user report about the Red Bull Air Race rounded off the successful meeting.

All events were very successful and the participants were provided with interesting presentations and inspiring discussions.
