Overon provide coverage of the 2015 general elections in the UK with a 20-strong team

16 DSNG's and 1 fly away were sent from different European cities to cover the event

Overon sent 16 DSNG's and 1 fly- away, the bulk via ferry from Santander to Portsmouth, from a host of European sites last week to cover the general elections in the UK. A total of 24 people were involved in the project providing satellite, camera and production services.

Overon provided coverage for Globecast and SIS Live from sites in Wales, Liverpool, London and the north of Scotland. The large scale of the coverage provided required detailed planning and began five months prior to the event with the confirmation of the vehicles needed for the project. All the 16 DSNGs were used for live coverage in the news centres which received the results from the different constituencies from 11 at night until 9 the following morning.

Overon also provided one-off services from a privileged site at Saint Thomas' Hospital (opposite Westminster Palace and Big Ben) for Spanish clients such as TVE, Antena 3, Mediaset, ETB and 8TV as well as international clients, M-6 (France) and Servus TV Fernsehen (Austria).
