Bow Tie television Awarded Contract to Televise UK Parliament

The Operation and Maintenance of Parliament's Video Broadcasting Systems Contract is for 5 years from August 1st 2011

Bow Tie television has been awarded the contract to televise the UK Parliament for the next 5 years.  The highly prestigious contract confirms Bow Tie Television's position as the premier supplier of this type of service in the UK.

 ·    Bow Tie Television has been involved in the broadcasting of the UK Parliament since televising began there in 1989, and has been the principal contractor since 2001
·    Bow Tie Television was awarded the Broadcast Operation and Maintenance Services to the National Assembly for Wales  contract in summer 2010
·    Bow Tie Television has also held the broadcasting contract with the Greater London Authority since 2006

This is the third UK parliamentary televising contract in a row to have been won by Bow Tie Television and the first to be awarded directly by the UK Parliament.

Bow Tie's Westminster team provides more than 100 hours a week of televised coverage from the House of Lords, House of Commons, Westminster Hall and Committee Rooms.
