Vitec Videocom announces the appointment of Tamas Vass to the position of Strategic Account Sales Manager. Vass will be based in Hungary and will be responsible for generating sales with the company’s major strategic end-user accounts in Benelux, Eastern Europe, Greece and the Mediterranean Islands, Scandinavia and Turkey.

Vitec Videocom, a division of The Vitec Group plc, expands its Camera Corps business with the incorporation of assets from SIS LIVE Special Cameras (formerly BBC Special Cameras). Twenty-four of the latest Robe VIVA CMY moving lights – launched at Prolight+Sound in April – were delivered to Dutch rental company Hoevenaars based in Nuenen, together with 24 x Spiider LED wash beams.
