DirectOut’s MONTONE.42 supports stream redundancy
MONTONE.42 is an AES67-compliant converter that bridges MADI (AES10) and RAVENNA Audio-over-IP technology. With the arrival of the new firmware, it now supports the SMPTE standard ST 2022-7, which describes Seamless Protection Switching between two RTP audio streams. As one of the first manufacturers to implement ST 2022-7, DirectOut offers customers an indispensable increase in transmission security for audio signals in IP networks. Additionally, the two network interfaces – which are now independently configurable – offer the possibility of operating audio streaming and device control in separate networks.

The sales started only a year ago in December 2016 in preparation for The Weeknd’s ‘Starboy’ tour, where LD Sooner Routhier specified BMFL Spots and WashBeams and Spikies for her elegant and eye-catching design.

At BVE 2018 Mobile Viewpoint will be presenting the EyeLink; a wearable 4G action camera which uses either bonded cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity to instantly allows to capture and share video directly on Social Media or CDN’s. Apart from live video transmission the EyeLink can also capture performance data from the athletes like for example heartbeat, blood pressure, bicycle speed and peddling power via ANT+ and build in sensors.

Riedel creates Zurich IP engineering hub with acquisition of Archwave and Cymatic Audio
Underlining its commitment to standards, Riedel is making continued investments in new technologies with its acquisition of Swiss engineering pioneer Archwave. CCTV Takes Lawo Route to IP-Based EFP
In addition to being a “first” for CCTV, this is also the first such system operating anywhere in China and represents a major milestone for German technology pioneer Lawo and the project’s main contractor, the NDT Group.
