Steffan Hewitt, originator of Polecam and director of Polecam Systems will be in Singapore at BroadcastAsia 2013 International Conference in June with Polecam Systems’ two trading partners H Warta, on stand number 4E3-01, and Antel Trading & Services on stand number 5F4-01.

Polecam Ltd announced that they have signed a contract with TECADS INC in the USA to become Master Distributor for Polecam in North and South America.

Polecam systems delivered a Polecam rig to Sir Ranulph Fiennes and his expedition members on board the research ship 'SA Agulhas ' at its River Thames mooring in London recently before it left on the first leg of its journey to Antarctica.

Polecam Systems will be at BVE2013 not only with a selection of their highly acclaimed Polecam rigs with various head options, but with a collection of other products from their ever expanding range of specialist small profile HD cameras, HD lenses and accessories.

Polecam has taken its place at the ‘Olympic Games: Behind the Screen’ exhibition at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is on display fitted out with the Polecam FishFace underwater system.

The IndiePOV, a major advance in ultra-compact cameras, will be introduced on the Polecam stand (10.C49) at IBC2011.

A major new addition to the Polecam product range will be introduced at IBC 2010. The HRO 69 (High Resolution Optics) is a high quality 3.5 mm lens designed specifically for use with latest-generation 1/3 inch miniature 3-CCD HD cameras.

Polecam has chosen IBC2011 in September as the launch venue for a major addition to its range of single-operator broadcast-quality camera cranes.  Polecam Wide is a motorised camera head designed to accommodate digital single-lens reflex cameras or camcorders of up 200 millimetres width, 280 millimetres height and 3.6 kilograms weight.  It is fully compatible with Polecam rigs of up to 6 metres span.

The issues surrounding audio loudness control were highlighted recently as a training seminar and workshop organised by Polish broadcaster TVP.

The Teatr Narodowy (National Theatre) in Warsaw, Poland, has invested in a total of 40 x Robe DL7S Profile moving lights which are part of a lighting upgrade to replace over 100 halogens and gel-scrollers in their rig with new LED light sources, a graduated process taking place across all three of the theatre’s three performance spaces.
