Helsinki City Theatre Selects Wired and Wireless Solution from Clear-Com

The Helsinki City Theatre, one of the largest theatres in Finland, has installed an extensive and fully integrated wired and wireless system from Clear-Com as part of a multi-million Euro renovation project. The system was designed and installed by Clear-Com and its longstanding partner Noretron, working with the British consultant Theatreplan, within a challenging time frame to fit with construction work and the closed theatre season.

4000 voices for Luther — spectacular finale for the Pop-Oratorio in Berlin

Celebrating the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, a spectacular show performed at 12 different venues in Germany, thrilling a total audience of more than 130,000. The biggest anniversary music event was a sold-out performance on 29th October in Berlin’s Mercedes-Benz-Arena with more than 11,000 spectators and a choir 4,000 strong. German public TV channel ZDF broadcast the recording of the Pop-Oratorio Luther on Reformation Day, 31st October.

Berlin Philharmonic with 4K HDR Workflow

For many years, the Berlin Philharmonic is offering its Digital Concert Hall (DCH) subscribers (https://digitalconcerthall.com) around 50 concerts per year as an HD live stream and is providing additional services such as background information, interviews and a very large archive (VoD ) including concerts with Herbert von Karajan as conductor. DCH has more than 740,000 registered users, including 26,000 with a paid ticket. DCH visitors come from 100 countries, 25 percent of sales are generated in Germany, 20 percent in the US and 15 percent in Japan.

In cooperation with its Russian partner Sovremenniye Tekhnologiyi Zvuka, Stage Tec, the Berlin-based digital audio equipment manufacturer, has just completed a fascinating project. An AURUS platinum mixing console and a large NEXUS routing network were installed in Skolkovo, which is situated just outside Moscow. This is where one of the world's largest technology centres is being built, a kind of Russian Silicon Valley. Previously home to 400 people, in future 25,000 are expected to live and work here.
