While most big sports leagues are taking their summer break, LiberoVision continues its expansion into new markets and products. While new products will be revealed at IBC 2011, new markets have already been entered!

Copa America 2011

For the first time LiberoVision is present at the Copa America, and this with three different broadcasters. Spanish-speaking US broadcaster Univision and Brazilian Pay-TV Globosat SporTV are analysing Copa America 2011 games from their Headquarter studios in the USA and Brazil, respectively.

Meanwhile, TVN from Chile is using LiberoVision in their provisory Copa America 2011 studio in Mendoza, Argentina. All three Customers are using Libero Highlights for pre-game, half-time, after-game and daily sport shows, based on multilateral signals only.

FIFA Women's World Cup Germany 2011

At the same time German channel ZDF was analysing the matches of the women's football World Cup games with Libero Highlight directly from the IBC in Frankfurt. It was the first time that LiberoVision's 3D flights and annotations are used to analyse women's sports. Brazilian SporTV and US sportscaster ESPN were analyzing the women's World Cup 2011 with Libero Highlight as well. In addition, ZDF entered a new era of sports analyses with dedicated online TV 3D analyses of LiberoVision on ZDF Mediathek.

NHL Stanley Cup Final 2011

Already this past spring, Libero Highlight for hockey received great coverage in North America during Stanley Cup Finals 2011. Both NBC and Versus in the USA, as well as TSN and CBC in Canada were broadcasting their NHL playoff games with Libero Highlight for hockey. Libero Highlight thereby became the de-facto NHL analysis tool of preference. Sam Flood, Executive Producer, NBC Sports and Versus: "LiberoVision provides a unique, tactical perspective that helps us take the audience inside the glass and give them the best seat in the house."

Libero Highlight adapted for Canadian Football

Canadian broadcaster TSN decided to extend its sport analysis partnership with LiberoVision after a highly successful NHL playoff this spring.

The Canadian Sport station will continue with Libero Highlight for hockey, and additionally cover its Canadian Football games with LiberoVision. Canadian Football, similar to American Football, is the eighth sport covered by LiberoVision. It had its premiere at Canadian football's season opener on Canada day.
