Under 26
However, this list also shows that the OECH focuses on the young athletes as this event is only for athletes who are younger than 26 years of age. It is a good opportunity for those who are normally in the IBU Cup to have a go against some of the young athletes in the E.ON IBU World Cup. At the same time, the juniors have their first opportunity to measure their own fitness against the competition which they will meet again at the IBU Youth and Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti in February.

The conditions are perfect; plenty of snow, cold with a slightly overcast sky and hardly any wind. Despite the very cold temperatures of -15 °C the 16 cameras provided by Reckord, including one SuperSloMo camera, worked perfectly. Sound was recorded in stereo with 35 microphones. REC 5 HD produced the international signal for the EBU but also the unilateral signal for STV, the public broadcaster in Slovakia.
