Mediatec is also present with a Wirecam. The Wirecam extends almost 300 meter from the medal plaza across the famous Karl Johans Street where it is not unusual to see thousands of enthusiastic people gather for the evening ceremonies. Each end of the wires is supported by giant mobile cranes making it possible to set up the Wirecam at almost any location, as long as you have a parking permit.

During the week we have seen the Wirecam catching magic moments in stunning pictures when gold medalists, beaming with joy from the crowd support, express their happiness.

As a supplement for the NRK host production the 280 meters wirecam give the TV viewers a nice shot over the downtown area. At the TV Compound Mediatec Broadcast is supplying OB-trucks with a total of 20 cameras.

Mediatec is proud to be a part of the largest sport event in Norway for many years.
