Wireless TV production next year in LONDON - Football AUSTRIA - Business update H1 - Sven Marinus strengthens ALFACAM management

EUROLINX, the wireless division within the ALFACAM GROUP, developed new technologies over the past three years to do long distance TV coverage of events such as Bicycle races, Marathons, Triathlons and Race Walk.

Using a pressurized aircraft, 2 or 3 helicopters, 4 to 6 motorbikes and 1 or 2 special vehicles, ALFACAM can transfer up to 10-12 HDTV signals in top quality to a TV vehicle which is typically stationed at the arrival.

ALFACAM produced last weekend the Belgian Championship Cycling for VTM, and ALFACAM was also chosen by TV2 Denmark to produce the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ROAD CYCLING in Denmark.

Alfacam has also signed an agreement with the Host Broadcaster of the major sporting event taking place in London next year to supply their proven and quite unique technology, after extensive tests in the past weeks.

The value of the mentioned three contracts for wireless TV production exceeds EUR 2,5M, two third of it being next year.

ALFACAM signed a contract with ORF to provide TV facilities for the next soccer Season. Generally the contract Includes the production for all Champions League and Europa League games and 15 to 40 Sunday Main games per season, depending from ORF's own availability. Therefore the estimated value of the contract will vary between EUR1M and EUR2M.

The soccer season in Austria starts already on July 13th 2011 with the Champions League Qualifier in Klagenfurt.

The above contracts illustrate the unique capabilities as well as market position of ALFACAM, as well as Its good prospects for the future.As of today, however, we have not yet been able to catch-up on the weak performance of Q1.Q2 will be some 2.5x better than Q1 but cannot compensate fully the weak months January till March. We are confident that H2 will be substantially better than H1.

As Business in Latin America and India is taking up, CEO Gabriel Fehervari wants to focus more on these strategic projects and on international sales, mainly overseas. Therefore Sven Marinus will strengthen the Management Team as COO. His role will be to support the daily management , mainly in Lint.

Sven Marinus was Area manager in Congo in the past three years for Brussels Airlines and before that, CEO from AirDC. He is used to manage a team of more than 160 persons in Kinshasa and has strong sales and management skills.

He graduated as Commercial Engineer at the Universiteit Antwerpen in 1998 and worked for five years for the former Sabena. Since 2007 he also worked on business development for Brussels Airlines in Africa.
