ALFACAM and NIMBUS SPORT Sign a Multi Year Strategic Alliance
(31/05/2011) Alfacam and Nimbus signed a multi year agreement for the provision of High Definition Equipment and technical services across various sport in Asia and the Middle East. The first result of this alliance is a contract to cover almost 750 Cricket Games over the next three years in India, worth over 20.000.000 US$.
The 3 year agreement, comes on the back of a successful relationship between both companies which began 8 months ago and saw Alfacam successfully provide High Definition equipment for a number of cricket events in India including the Australia and New Zealand cricket tours of India in 2010, over 60 days of Indian domestic cricket and a large number of matches of the Indian Premier League 2011.
The new alliance will see Alfacam provide top of the line High Definition Equipment for international and domestic cricket events in India including International cricket tours, the IPL and the Champions League T20, totaling over 700 match days. The configuration for these events will vary between three to eight complete HDTV Flight case structures, each scaling from 22 to 29 GVG cameras and CANON lenses, 6 to 8 EVS hard disk servers, stumpcams, wireless systems, the complete digital audio production and a lot more.
Nimbus Sport will now also exclusively market all Alfacam Equipment products throughout Asia and the Middle East, providing Alfacam with a serious thrust into the sports market in the region.
