2011 CFL Grey Cup and Division Championships Live on America ONE

America One Celebrates 10th Year Carrying Canadian Football League

America ONE Television Network, a sports and entertainment network, today announced the 99th Canadian Football League (CFL) the Grey Cup Championship games, the CFL East and CFL West Divisional Championship games will be live on America ONE.

“Canadian football is an exciting fast-paced game and a perennial favorite with our affiliates and their viewers,” said Preston Bornman, COO of ONE Media Corp. “Additionally, we value our long-standing relationship with the CFL’s League Office.”

2011 marks the 10th year the CFL division finals and the Grey Cup Championship have been carried by America ONE.

The regional championship games will be held Sunday, November 20, with game one beginning at 1 p.m. EST, and the second game starting at 4:30 p.m. EST. The Grey Cup will be held Sunday, November 27 at 6:30 p.m. EST.

This week’s first game features the Hamilton Tiger-Cats versus the Blue Bombers of Winnipeg. Game two has the Edmonton Eskimos taking on the British Columbia Lions.

Winnipeg, the winner of the regular season CFL East Title, played Hamilton a total of three times this season with the Blue Bombers taking a three-game sweep of the Tiger-Cats. The Lions won the season series CFL West Title and bested the Eskimos 3-1.

These four teams are fighting it out this Sunday for the chance to play again next week in the 99th Grey Cup Championship game being held in Vancouver, British Columbia. This year’s half-time entertainment will be the Canadian rock band Nickleback.
