Also in commercial terms the FIBT looks forward to an exciting and fruitful season: All sponsorship packages available have been successfully sold by Infront for the FIBT World Cup as well as the World Championships.

While the various stakeholders of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil™ continue to diligently assemble the numerous pieces of the event, over in Russia the Local Organising Committee for the 2018 edition of the event is moving full steam ahead on its own massive jigsaw. During a live broadcast on Russia's Channel One TV, FIFA and the 2018 LOC announced the host cities for the tournament, selected in close cooperation between the two entities based on a number of criteria.

Emmi, Switzerland’s leading milk processor, has extended its international sponsorship involvement in the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup ahead of time. The new contract directly follows the current one, running from the 2013/14 to the 2015/16 season. It was closed with Infront Sports & Media. The international sports marketing company markets the advertising and sponsorship rights to the majority of FIS Alpine Ski World Cup events on a collective basis.
