Polish technology company ESS Audio is midway through an intensive development program that will see the completion of several world-class football stadia by the time Poland co-hosts the UEFA Euro 2012 Championship (along with Ukraine) next summer. Earlier this year, ESS Audio commissioned an integrated HARMAN Professional audio solution in the new PGE Arena in Gdansk, before turning its attention to Stadion Miejski in Wroclaw, the highest Category 4 Municipal Stadium in the country. ESS’s technical team engaged in a similar fast-fit installation for the rebuilding of the 42,000-capacity stadium, again sourcing most of the equipment from the HARMAN portfolio.

Until Thursday 02 February, men, women and junior men and women will compete for European Championship medals. On 26 January, the junior athletes started with sprints, followed by the senior athletes on 27 January. On Sunday all age groups have fought for pursuit glory and all the action was covered by Reckords HD OBVan REC 5 HD in high definition. For transmission the Signal was down-converted to SD.

Broadcast Sports, Inc. (BSI) successfully deployed its comprehensive, mobile platform at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Houston, TX this past weekend. As part of the coverage for the men's and women's marathons, BSI supplied HD wireless services including transmission and control of all live elements. The coverage included two motorcycles with handheld camera operators, two CineFlex cameras on the lead vehicles and one CineFlex camera on a helicopter.
