The second edition of GQ France “Men of the year 2011” ceremony was broadcasted live with TriCaster

On January 18th 2012, the 2nd edition of the “Men of the year 2011” ceremony organized by GQ France magazine took place in the Ritz Hotel in Paris. For the first time, GQ chose to broadcast live the event on the web.

The production company “Tête à Claps” gave the production and the live stream operation to EV CORP. EV CORP delegated five persons to be on site, 1 production operator, 2 assistants, 1 production manager and 1 PR manager. The HD production system set up for this VIP event included 4 cameras PMW EX and 3 Sony, controlled by remotes Sony RMB 150, 1 teleprompter, 1 recorder AJA KI Pro and 1 TriCaster 850 EXTREME paired with Tricaster 850 CS for mixing, titling and streaming.

GQ rewarded the most memorable men of the year 2011, personalities, French and international, coming from different world such as sport, music, journalism, cinema…

The ceremony, hosted by Antoine De Caunes, was broadcasted live on GQ Magazine website and on the Facebook page of the magazine.

The star of the evening was Jean Dujardin, awarded “Actor of the year” by the readers of GQ, it follows the already won Golden Globe and Screen Actor Guild Awards for Best Actor.
