Comprehensive manuals are supplied with every system. Full backup is provided for 12 months following the completion of a system. This support takes the form of engineering visits or telephone support as required. System support can also be deployed throughout the entire life of an installation.
Central to the ATG Broadcast ethos is a careful study of client workflow followed by selection and optimisation of software and hardware. The company's turnkey contract experience includes site-structure, air-conditioning, acoustics, lighting, energy conservation, furniture, technical documentation and operator training. ATG Broadcast systems are designed to allow easy upgrade and expansion, including migration to new transmission standards and delivery platforms.
The ATG Broadcast client list includes some of the world's largest broadcast networks and embraces the latest file-based high-definition digital networking technology. One of the earliest HD projects we worked on was at National Geographic Channel, providing expanded HD resources at the network's European post-production centre in London. Recent ATG Broadcast projects include HD routing and infrastructure expansion for TV4 Sweden, edit suites and HD signing studio for Red Bee Media, an ingest suite for BBC Post Production, online edit suites for BBC Television, and broadcast training suites for De Montfort University.
Content archives as well as broadcasters are upgrading to HD. We recently completed a technical upgrade commission for the Imperial War Museum. The IWM's archived content is frequently used by television documentary producers, many of whom are now working in 1080i HD.
On a much larger scale, we completed a comprehensive rebuild of Astro's All Asia Broadcast Centre (AABC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, including HD infrastructure. A suite of operational areas was installed and the station architecture re-engineered to provide resilience plus easy future expansion capabilities.
ATG Broadcast will be represented at Broadcast Asia 2010 by Jim Greaves, Business Development Manager.
