For the last 4 years, the award-winning W-DMX™ by Wireless Solution Sweden has been used in a very special festival in Norway, the Verket Musikkfestival. The 2-day festival, held in the beautiful town of Mo i Rana, located just below the Arctic Circle, hosts some of Norway’s best artists each year, with the 2012 festival hosting a sold out venue of over 5000 visitors each night. The crowds came to see 14 musical acts including Timbuktu & Damn, Dumdum Boys, Gabrielle and Melissa Horn.

After getting his first look at the High End Systems Hog 4 console at the 2012 LDI show, leading lighting designer Bryan Hartley integrated a pair of Hog 4 desks into his lighting package for the 2012 TransSiberian Orchestra tour. While the two concurrent TSO tours were each initially programmed with a Hog 3 desk, Hartley demo'd the new flagship Hog 4 at LDI and was compelled to make the switch to HES's latest and greatest show control.

Following a short run of festival shows in 2012, British indie rockers Courteneers played a one-off gig at Manchester Arena on December 7th with lighting designer Dan Hill using a predominant Martin rig that included some of the newest MAC luminaires – the MAC Viper Profile™ and MAC III AirFX™ - as well as the MAC Aura™ and MAC 2000 Wash XB™. Lighting supply was from Lite Alternative.
