Vitec Videocom Appoints Tamas Vass As Strategic Account Sales Manager

Vass has considerable experience in the broadcast industry and prior to joining Vitec Videocom, he held the position of Sales and Partner Director at AmberFin where he was responsible for establishing and managing sales channels across the entire EMEA region. Vass has also worked for Clear-Com while it was part of the Vitec Group, and Harris Corporation.

Vass will report directly to Aldo Di Caterino, Vice-President, Strategic Sales, EMEA at Vitec Videocom. Di Caterino said: “Tamas has an excellent, proven track record in conducting and negotiating large system sales and with his experience in the region, he will be a definite asset to our strategic team.”

Vass added: “I see Vitec as a stable and profitable company with a strong and innovative product portfolio. I’m glad to have the opportunity to help grow the Vitec Videocom business further in Europe and I am very excited to be joining the team. It is great to be back at the Vitec Group, and I look forward to drawing upon my broadcast sector expertise and experience.”

Away from the office, Vass is a keen scuba diver, bass player and composer.
