The Vitec Group opening its South America Regional Office in Brazil

The Vitec Group plc provides vital products and services that support the capture of exceptional images

The Vitec Group plc today announced the planned opening of its São Paulo, Brazil office, the company’s first in South America.

“Broadcasters in Brazil, and throughout South America, are exceptionally knowledgeable about the art and science of broadcasting – from content creation through capture and transmission. Our brands constitute the state of the art in various aspects including lighting, camera support, batteries, equipment bags and transmission equipment, and have been used extensively in Brazil for years. While we have enjoyed tremendous success with our products throughout South America, we recognize the benefits of being geographically closer to our distributors, customers and clients. Opening an office in Brazil gives us the ability to immediately respond to our partners’ and customers’ needs and requirements in the most timely manner possible”, said Joop Janssen, Divisional CEO of the Videocom Division of The Vitec Group plc.

“Our several Vitec companies have been well represented by several accomplished professional distributors in Brazil over the years and we intend those relationships to strengthen. We see our new office as providing a source of local support to our distributors in streamlining the sales process as well as facilitating the importation of our products in a more expeditious fashion. The office will also give our clients and ultimate customers a local source of after-sale service, in addition to and supportive of, that offered by our distributors. The São Paulo office will open prior to the end of this year.”

The brands under the Vitec’s Videocom division include: Anton Bauer, Autoscript, Litepanels, Nucomm, OConnor, Petrol Bags, RF Central, Sachtler, Vinten, and Vinten Radamec.
