At Broadcast Asia Vislink will launch the broadcast Advent Mantis "MSAT" Man Portable Data Terminal

Following the successful launch of the Advent Mantis "MSAT" Man Portable Data Terminal earlier this year in March for the surveillance marketplace, Broadcast Asia will witness the launch of the broadcast variant.

The new broadcast model has been designed to meet Ka and Ku band specifications and can be powered from either mains or 12-36VDC supply. As well as having interchangeable modem options, this system can also be configured to have an Advent DVE encoder built in.

This highly portable, tri-band satellite antenna system is specifically designed for speed, ease of use and portability. The system's fully integrated design requires less than five minutes from arrival to satellite acquisition, making it ideal for rapid deployment field applications where there is little or no time to spare.

Weighing in at only 12.5 kilos, the Advent MSAT is specifically designed to be carried by one person and provides powerful functionality for applications such as first -on-scene broadcasters, special operations, disaster recovery, emergency services and mining operations.
