Vinten’s Vision blue and Vector 430 to be showcased at CABSAT 2011 and at BVE 2011

Vinten is exhibiting on Stand #S3-B41 at CabSat and at Stand #I30 at BVE

Vinten®, a Vitec Group brand and a global leader in camera supports, is showcasing its new Vision blue and award winning Vector 430 at CABSAT on 8-10 February 2011 and for the first time in the UK at BVE on 15-17 February 2011.

These innovative products, successfully launched at IBC2010, are the latest in Vinten’s highly acclaimed range of top quality camera support solutions, and will be shown alongside two other Vision 3AS and 8AS pan and tilt heads at the forthcoming broadcast trade event.

The Vision blue is a competitively priced pan and tilt head and tripod system which is designed to provide the experienced camera operator with professional support to match the extremely high-performance of today’s popular small lightweight camcorders and DSLRs equipped for video. The Vision Blue addresses the need for a broadcast quality tripod system capable of genuinely balancing the smaller, lightly accessorised cameras.

The Vector 430 has already received two accolades, including the TV Technology Europe STAR award, and TVB Europe’s ‘Best of IBC2010’ award. One of the first UK users of this new compact pan and tilt head is Ravensbourne College, who recently fitted the Vector 430 in its state of the art campus in southeast London. This pan and tilt head bridges the gap between the Vision and Vector ranges and is ideal for the growing number of applications which use both compact box lens and large EFP barrel lenses.

Another pan and tilt head which will be shown at both exhibitions is the Vision 3AS, which is ideal for today's intermediate weight and highly accessorised professional camcorders, balancing payloads between 1.8 - 4.1 kg / 4.0 / 9 lbs. The infinitely adjustable Perfect Balance system allows just the right amount of counterbalance to be set, which is particularly useful when reconfiguring the camcorder set up. The Vision 8AS has been developed for professionals using the latest portable digital camera configurations throughout the video production industry and is designed to offer exceptional versatility. It ensures improved access to controls, rapid camera attachment using the new Vinten Sideload system and simple, durable brakes which all manage the demands of professional operation.

“CABSAT is an established and respected event which provides us with the perfect platform to showcase our camera support products to the industry. Like all of Vinten’s equipment, these innovative products combine reliability with high quality performance and include fast set-up and smooth, predictable and controllable movement suitable for all camera operators and professional videographers,” said Peter Harman, Vinten product manager and continued, “and as the biggest show of its kind in the UK, BVE provides the perfect platform for us to showcase these four camera support products to the industry. The equipment can be used for a variety of different applications and will meet the needs of all camera operators and professional videographers who want the reliability and high quality performance of Vinten’s products.”
