VidiGo Brings Live Production Automation to a Higher Level at IBC2014

VidiGo will show its revolutionary IT-based solutions for live production automation for news, visual radio and sports arenas

Years of experience in developing IT-based solutions has allowed VidiGo to bring automation to a higher level this IBC. The three complete workflows that will be showed are Studio Automation, Visual Radio and Arena Solutions. All three workflows are based on VidiGo’s multi-camera live production suite VidiGo Live. On top of VidiGo Live they’ve built three separate automation layers tailored for specific markets.

Studio Automation
The Studio Automation workflow is an all-in-one live production and automation environment that allows broadcasters to entirely automate their live news production. The automation tool “Live Assist” let’s broadcasters create rundowns for their show consisting of camera input, videos, graphics, audio, transitions, DVE effects, keying and presets. Integration with newsroom systems ensures Live Assist is automatically filled with items such as video, titles, camera position, etc from the newsroom system.

Visual Radio
Visual Radio has become much more than just a webcam and graphics, Visual Radio allows radio stations to create compelling and entertaining TV shows from their radio studio. The Audio Director analyses the radio show and automatically switches cameras, like a real director would do. Due to integration with the radio automation system, video clips, video commercials, video jingles, social media and real-time data from RSS and XML are automatically played.

Arena Solutions
The latest development of VidiGo is Arena Solutions, a complete workflow for stadium screen broadcasting that can be operated by one single person. This workflow resembles the complete storyline of a soccer match. All events such as announcements, interactive audience games, goals, commercials, substitutes and reruns are configurable elements in the Arena Solutions application. This means that all events can easily be scripted in pre-production by the creative team. Based on templates the creative staff can create graphics, add commercials, audio, photos, line-ups, etc.
