T-VIPS Set to Build on Success in IP and JPEG2000

• Success in Sports: Big Ten in the USA, Winter Olympics for EBU, World Cup soccer in Austria

• Terrestrial: projects include Media Broadcast for Germany’s DVB-T2 trial, launch of DVB-T2 in Sweden and extending TDF’s DTT network

• Contribution: Elletronica Industriale (a Mediaset company) deployment for advanced Italian contribution network.

• JPEG2000: Technology lead reinforced, through the industry’s first launch of mathematically lossless JPEG2000 transport for the transport of alternative content for Digital Cinema, stereo 3DTV and digital film post-production processes.
