T-VIPS Set to Build on Success in IP and JPEG2000

T-VIPS plans to increase leadership in JPEG2000, IP, Transport Stream Processing and Digital Terrestrial TV in 2011

T-VIPS, a global leader in professional video contribution and distribution solutions, today announces that it is entering 2011 in great shape after experiencing increasing market interest, sales growth and a healthy bottom line in 2010. With an expanding organisation, a strong product portfolio, and industry leadership positions in several sectors including JPEG2000, IP video transport, advanced transport stream processing and 3D contribution, T-VIPS has lined up exciting business and technology plans for 2011.

“We believe that in the current economic climate broadcasters and network operators will continue to demand more from their current video broadcast infrastructure and trim their operations and operating costs. A major reason for our continued success is that we’ve stuck to our principles of listening to our customers, providing solutions to their problems, and going the extra mile to ensure that our products are reliable, work out of the box and yet can also be adjusted to meet customer requirements,” says Johnny Dolvik, CEO, T-VIPS.

“Making the complex simple has been right at the core of our efforts as a company. Throughout our product portfolio we’ve used our imagination, experience and R&D resources to solve generic broadcast challenges. 2011 will continue to see us addressing complex video network issues, so that our customers can simply concentrate on the expansion and profitability of their businesses,” concludes Dolvik.
