CP546 Transport Stream Monitor
The CP546 is part of the T-VIPS’ cProcessor suite; a line of compact, powerful and cost-effective products designed for processing and monitoring of MPEG-2 transport streams. This monitoring functionality is increasingly important in today’s complex broadcast architectures. Error detection and alarms are based on ETSI TR 101 290 for DVB signals and ATSC A/78 for ATSC DTV signals, with the alarms provided through an easy-to-use web user interface as well as through SNMP. In addition to its monitoring capabilities, the CP546 also allows in-depth analysis of signal, services, components as well as PSI, SI and PSIP table decoding. Combined, these features enable the fast diagnosis of erroneous signals.
The CP546 provides remote supervision and monitoring of up to 8 DVB-ASI or SMPTE-310 transport streams, and up to 16 IP/Ethernet transport streams. In addition, the CP546 is fully configurable and may be set up to detect and initiate alarms as required by the network operator.
