Bringing together leading motion-imaging technologists, researchers, scientists, manufacturers, and strategic thinkers

The Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers (SMPTE) announced that Martin Guillaume, the IBM Global Business Services leader for media in the UK and Ireland, will join The Forum panel "Show Me Where The Money Is" to discuss the kinds of business models and overall structures media companies need to be successful in the next 10 to 15 years.

Tom Morrod, the head of TV technology at the global research firm IHS Screen Digest, will moderate this panel which also will discuss the collaboration and/or consolidation that will be required, how organizations can keep costs down while maintaining value across their operations, and the financial impact of other issues, such as green initiatives, ongoing regulatory and legislative activities, and the transition to the cloud.

With content distributed across more channels than ever before and consumers multi-tasking across multiple screens Guillaume will discuss how analytical tools can enable the media companies of the future to understand, predict, and act upon changes in consumer behaviour – and use these deep insights to ensure the best possible consumer experience and business practices.
