Sky News Arabia’s State-of-the Art Headquarters to Use Vinten Radamec Technology

Vinten Radamec, a Vitec Group brand and world leader in robotic camera support systems, has been selected to equip the newly created headquarters of the Arabic language TV station, Sky News Arabia, with a range of its advanced robotic and manual studio products.

The Abu Dhabi based channel has ordered a range of Vinten Radamec products. The landmark studios, a 50-50 joint venture between Abu Dhabi Media Investment Corp (ADMIC), a private investment company, and British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB), are due to launch in the spring of 2012. The channel will be based in a three floor facility housing a multimedia newsroom, craft edit suites, live graphics production and a news operations centre that will manage Sky News Arabia’s international network of thirteen bureaux. The channel’s main studio will be in a completely redesigned space within the complex.
