MediorNet Compact is the cost effective and easy-to-use entry into the Riedel MediorNet world of integrated media signal distribution and processing. It provides the flexibility of a true real-time media network, including integrated signal processing, at the cost of simple multiplexing point-to-point products. With a network bandwidth of 50 Gbit/s MediorNet Compact provides enough capacity for bi-directional transport of 12 HD-SDI signals, dozens of MADI streams or Gbit-Ethernet signals and hundreds of audio channels or intercom ports – ideal for streamlining the infrastructure of any mobile, studio or live event application.

The Star Awards’ winners are chosen by a judging panel of broadcast industry experts reviewing the products and examining the technical applications and the product’s contribution tot he industry. “The NAB show serves as the launching pad for thousands of new products and services for audio and video professionals,” said Tom Butts, TV Technology Editor-in-Chief. “Our panel of editors walked the show floor in search of the most innovative technologies. The products and services that we selected for the STAR Award made the cut—they demonstrated their ability to help advance the acquisition and distribution of entertainment and information across the media spectrum.”
