ProLight + Sound: Production, Broadcast and Recording Go Public

Product area presented across both trade fairs at Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound

The two trade fairs, Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound, from 21 to 24 March 2012, provide mutual reinforcement for the product groups Production, Broadcast und Recording across both events.

The technical possibilities in the fields of production, broadcasting and recording are arousing interest across an ever larger circle of users. High-quality computers, software and hardware (consoles, microphones, recording equipment, cameras etc.) are becoming easier and easier to use, simpler to transport and, depending on individual requirements, relatively affordable.

At the same time, production tools and channels of publication on the internet – via Youtube, Facebook and MySpace, for example – are becoming accessible for more and more people. The products and services in the areas of Production, Broadcast and Recording, which were once the preserve of professionals, are now being employed by semi-professional users and non-specialists.

Exhibitor search and quick-finder make it easy to find what you are looking for
This development is equally reflected in the presence of these product groups at both Musikmesse and Prolight+Sound. Reason enough to make the exhibitors in these segments searchable via their own dedicated function in the exhibitor search engine, and to identify them separately. This quick-finder will contain the names of some 240 exhibitors in the areas of production, broadcasting and recording, showing their hall and stand number. Visitors will find them both at Musikmesse (Halls 3.1, 4.1 and 5.1 and at Prolight + Sound (Halls 6.1, 8.0, 9.0 and 11.0).
