NewTek tours Europe with the MINI LiveMan

For this unique and never seen Tour in Europe, 3D Storm integrated a MINI Countryman with a TriCaster 450 EXTREME, the latest addition to the TriCaster product family.

TriCaster™ 450 EXTREME is a 14-channel, HD/SD portable live production switcher, in a 2U rack mount system. With proprietary NewTek IsoCorder™ technology, TriCaster 450 EXTREME provides the ability to record up to four channels of video from either inputs or outputs. It includes integrated live titling editor and HD Live Virtual Sets, with real-time reflections and animated zoom control.

TriCaster 450 EXTREME live Streaming capabilities in multiple formats including, Windows Media® and Adobe Flash® (H.264) in any resolution up to HD expands live production broadcast possibilities. TriCaster 450 EXTREME offers important additional benefits, such as direct support for any Apple® AirPlay®-enabled app or device, plus EQ and compressor/limiter capabilities on every audio input and output, seven animation Store Transitions to deliver real time transitions, motion video effects and audio, and an integrated Web browser to access online CDN accounts.

LiveText 2, the dedicated multi-def titling software, fully completes NewTek TriCaster production solution. It runs independently on a computer that is networked with TriCaster, during a live production. It allows real-time data display, for scores update, times or information change during fast-paced, live productions.

The MINI LiveMan is as flexible as TriCaster is: a dynamic performer on any terrain, combining thrilling responses with time and stress economy.

Going Compact
Exclusive add to the MINI LiveMan, the new and awaited 3Play 425 will pair with the TriCaster 450 EXTREME to make a complete production solution ready-to-go and to stream live from any location NewTek 3Play™ 425, is a four-input, two-output, slow motion system that supports the simultaneous display and synchronized, continuous recording of up to four live video sources.

NewTek 3Play 425, a compact, turnkey solution, provides in-game highlights authoring on-the-fly to producers looking for a serious, professional replay system.

3Play 425 includes over-the-network integration with NewTek TriCaster™. It appears as a network input to the TriCaster, providing a complete integrated solution for live sports production with a small footprint.

3Play 425 offers great benefits such as two fully independent playout channels, one for air, one for arena scoreboard display. With interpolated slow-motion and multi-angle switching during live playback capacity, get a network-quality presentation, instant, in-game creation of playlists and highlight reels with transitions and soundtracks. Record up to 30 hours in HD, up to 1080/25p, for immediate replay and is paired with a premium hardware control surface.

For the MINI LiveMan project, 3D Storm has the honor to count on SIS LIVE for the integration of the vehicle. SIS LIVE plays a key role in the industry and has the largest fleet of outside broadcast and satellite uplink trucks in Europe. Their satellite internet division provides mobile satellite internet, streaming and webcasting, a complete broadcasting solution, including host broadcast, and 3D outside broadcast, RF wireless communications, special cameras, satellite capacity, teleport and distribution services.

The MINI LiveMan, as an all-terrain vehicle, is equipped with uPod®. SISLIVE’s uPod is a fully automated, compact, SNG uplink system.

Completely versatile, uPod can be fitted to any vehicle or used as a simple flyaway transmission solution. It is totally flexible and can be removed from a vehicle quickly and easily and used as a ground mount system. uPod packs in to easy-to-carry hostess style trolley cases meeting IATA baggage regulations of under 23Kg.

A central booking system, uBook, controls the complete transmission process. It is simple to operate with a full remote control – via satellite or IP providing an efficient use of satellite capacity.

The MINI LiveMan is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies from JVC. Designed with customer requests in mind, JVC’s new G-series of the DT-V studio monitors offer excellent image quality and feature a robust design suitable for a variety of applications.

Perfect for everyday use, the metal chassis provides optimal heat abstraction and long durability, ensuring that the new DT-V studio monitors are appropriate for professional use. The easy to-use key front panel and optional calibration software provide excellent service and operation of the units.

The latest tapeless cameras from JVC will also integrate the MINI LiveMan production solution. The GY-HM750E, a highly mobile, professional dual memory card camcorder offers a flexibility to fit seamlessly into almost any production environment. For both HD and SD assignments, the camcorder natively records Apple’s QuickTime™ (MOV) file format for Final Cut Pro™ for a smooth, hassle-free workflow. For compatibility with other NLE systems, the GY-HM750E also supports HD MP4 and SD AVI file recording.

Follow The Tour
Kicking off at SPORTEL Monaco on October 10th, the tour will go from Monaco to Rome, from Madrid to Munich, all thanks to the support of BMW MINI who provided the MINI Countryman SD ALL4. NewTek will go sporty on Europe’s roads, “sporty on city streets, sporty on mud tracks and country lanes”. NewTek MINI LiveMan will take you everywhere, to stream, broadcast, podcast, webcast and replay wherever the action is.

NewTek MINI LiveMan will be showcased in major industry trade shows all over Europe in 2011/2012.
