Following this success SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MEDIAGROUP at this year’s IBC introduced a second very attractive variant of POLARIS touch: The new POLARIS touch XCMC combines the innovative user interface of the POLARIS touch with the audio signal processing capabilities of long-established NEXUS audio network and routing system. All audio processing is done on the XCMC console card thus taking advantage of the ultra-low NEXUS latency and providing a consistent signal flow without the need for format converting.
Of course, all other advantages of POLARIS touch remain the same: The extremely user-friendly and responsive touch surface, the flexibility thanks to the modular concept with independent CPU’s for each module as well as the smooth integration with SALZBRENNER STAGETEC MediaControl for advanced control options such as lighting control, intercom systems, playback devices and stage-management functions.
